Half a century of biomechanics in Quebec City
It all began in 1971, when Carol Pouliot, trained in traditional shoemaking, started crafting orthotics in his workshop. That artisan know-how, handed down and refined ever since, is carried today by orthotists who are members of the OTPQ and the AOPQ.
Custom-molded foot orthotics and exclusively imported orthopedic footwear built our reputation — and they remain the heart of what we offer, fabricated and fitted in our Sainte-Foy laboratory.

Founded in 1971 by Carol Pouliot, a pioneer of foot orthotics in Québec, our Sainte-Foy laboratory controls every step of fabrication: biomechanical assessment, impressions, molding and adjustments all happen under one roof. That end-to-end control, inherited from the traditional shoemaking craft, lets our orthotists (OTPQ, AOPQ) deliver devices of remarkable precision.
Painful heels, bunions, collapsing arches or the after-effects of a workplace accident: our orthotists first pinpoint the mechanical cause of the problem, then build the orthosis that corrects it. We bill the CNESST, the SAAQ and Veterans Affairs Canada directly, and work with most private insurers.
